The Meat Free Monday Cookbook

Author: Annie Rigg, Tara Fisher, Meat Free Monday  Category: Recipe  Publisher: Kyle  : 2011  ISBN: 9780857830678 (hbk) 0857830678 (hbk)
 Description:

Delicious, unfussy, seasonal recipes covering all three meals of the day. There are plenty of great options for families but also ideas I’ve used for guests. The ingredients are generally simple and easily accessible and the meals can realistically be thrown together after work on a Monday or on a lunch break. There’s even a packed lunch option.

There are lots of great vegan recipes and easily convertible dishes, though one downside is that there’s nothing to indicate which ones are vegan or cater for other dietary needs without reading the full recipe. It’s a book packed with recipes – enough to cover a whole year of Mondays, however, the text is quite small making it tricky to follow while cooking. Despite this, its a book I go back to again and again and trust it to reliably produce really tasty meals.
